Isabelle Daza says leaving Eat Bulaga was the hardest decision she made

Isabelle Daza said that leaving Eat Bulaga, the Philippines' longest-running noon-time variety show, was the hardest decision she has made in her life.

"I'll always be grateful kasi ang dami kong natutunan," Isabelle said in an EB video posted on Sunday.

"Ngayon 'pag tinanong ako, 'what was the hardest decision in your life?'" she said, teary-eyed, "It was leaving Eat Bulaga because mahal na mahal ko sila and lahat ng tao doon, from the floor director to the cameramen, even the people sa backroom, nakasanayan ko na."

Isabelle was part of the legendary show, which recently celebrated its 40th anniversary. Isabelle was an Eat Bulaga host from 2011 until 2014.

She said that because of Eat Bulaga, she started to love work because working every day in the show was filled with so much joy and positivity.

"Everyday masigla. Wala akong memory na I didn't want to work kasi every day happy. It was so positive kaya up to now, 40 years going strong, kasi kahit pagod, masaya," she said.

She added, "Once a Dabarkads, forever a Dabarkads dahil forever ang Eat Bulaga." — Kaela Malig/BM, GMA News
