Juancho Trivino looks back at his GMA audition: 'I had nothing but my height and makapal na kilay'

Juancho Trivino remains a Kapuso, having just recently renewed his contract with GMA Network.

To mark the occasion, the actor and host looked back at his audition with GMA seven years ago.

7 years ago I remember commuting to an audition for GMA. I took the tricycle, bus and MRT from Sta. Rosa to get there - I had nothing but my height, my makapal na kilay, and a growing hope for a career, even though I didn’t know how to act or host. Since then, ang buhay ko sa GMA ay para talagang roller coaster ride: lessons learned the REALLY HARD way, heartbreaks, triumphs and everything else in between, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Here are some photos from today’s contract renewal.. I’m very grateful for all the opportunities I’ve been given, and I’m so humbled to call GMA my home. Excited for what’s in store... salamat po mga Kapuso. ????

Juancho said that at the time, he had nothing but his height, eyebrows, and hope for a career. He did not know how to act or host.

"7 years ago I remember commuting to an audition for GMA. I took the tricycle, bus and MRT from Sta. Rosa to get there - I had nothing but my height, my makapal na kilay, and a growing hope for a career, even though I didn’t know how to act or host," he said in an Instagram post.

That started the rollercoaster ride of Juancho's life. But through the ups and downs, Juancho said he wouldn't have it any other way.

"Since then, ang buhay ko sa GMA ay para talagang roller coaster ride: lessons learned the REALLY HARD way, heartbreaks, triumphs and everything else in between, but I wouldn’t have it any other way," he said.

"I’m very grateful for all the opportunities I’ve been given, and I’m so humbled to call GMA my home. Excited for what’s in store... salamat po mga Kapuso," he added.
