Kapuso stars Isabelle De Leon, Kelley Day, Michelle Dee join Miss World Philippines 2019

Kapuso stars Isabelle de Leon, Kelley Day and Michelle Dee are among the candidates who will vie for the most coveted crowns in Miss World Philippines 2019.

Michelle is following the footsteps of her mother Melanie Marquez who won in the Miss International pageant in 1979. She's also the cousin of Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Winwyn Marquez, who is also a fellow Kapuso.

Meanwhile, Kapuso actor Kelley Day has been vocal about her interest to join beauty pageants. The Filipino-British beauty queen, who stands a little over 5'7 tall, has a background in modelling before she entered the showbiz industry.

Isabelle de Leon is perhaps the beauty pageant rookie of the three. She is best known for her roles in the 2003 film Magnifico and in the GMA-7 sitcom Daddy Di Do Du where she played Vic Sotto's youngest daughter Duday. She also guest starred in the series Dragon Lady.
