'Die Beautiful,' 'Love is Blind,' 'Sid & Aya,' among new Pinoy titles added to Netflix

Netflix just fortified its local content with a slew of Pinoy movies added to its library this September.

Among those are the Paolo Ballesteros-headlined “Die Beautiful” and the Dingdong Dantes Anne Curtis starred “Sid & Aya: Not a Love Story.”

The award-winning “Die Beautiful” follows the story of transgender who dreams of becoming a beauty queen.

The film, which won for Paolo Ballesteros the best actor trophy at the Tokyo International Film Festival, started streaming on Sunday, September 1.

"Love is Blind," which stars Derek Ramsay, Solenn Heussaff, and Kiray Celis was also added to the service on September 1. 

“Sid & Aya: Not a Love Story,” meanwhile, tells the story of a successful bachelor who hires a waitress to keep him company. The 2018 movie, which won for Dingdong Dantes a best actor trophy, will hit Netflix on September 23.

Other movies hitting the streaming site this month are Camp Sawi (September 23), 100 Tula Para Kay Stella (September 23), “Luck at First Sight” (September 23), “Diary ng Panget” (September 23), and “This Time” (September 23).
