Alden Richards says his faith 'keeps him grounded and sane'
For a lot of girls, Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards is their dream guy: handsome, kind and religious.
During a media conference after his contract signing on Tuesday, Alden admitted that his faith keeps him grounded and sane as he receives recognition after recognition.
"Faith ko po is what keeps me grounded. At the end of the day, kapag wala na 'yung fame, wala na 'yung pera, wala na 'yung kasikatan, wala na 'yung hiyawan ng mga tao, 'yung pagmamahal ng Diyos para sa 'yo hindi magbabago," Alden said.
He added that it's God's blessings that keep him humbled. "So kaya ganoon na lang ako ka-faithful. All the more I get these recognitions...mas lalo kong hinahawakan 'yung kamay ng Diyos kasi siya 'yung nagbabalik sa kin na, 'Op, baka nakakalimutan mo na ikaw pa rin 'tong taong to'."
Alden recently received the Asian Star Prize in South Korea and his film "Hello, Love, Goodbye" with Kathryn Bernardo has become an international success.
Aside from these, he is set to have his primetime comeback with the new drama series "The Gift" which will premiere this September already. — LA, GMA News
