Jeric Gonzales on kissing scenes with Klea Pineda and Sheryl Cruz: 'Isang mas passionate, isang mas aggressive'
Jeric Gonzales is taking on more daring roles. On upcoming GMA Afternoon Prime, "Magkaagaw," he's doing kissing scenes with Klea Pineda and his older co-actor Sheryl Cruz.
At the press conference of the upcoming TV drama series on Monday, entertainment reporters asked Jeric who was better at kissing.
Jeric answered, "Parehas po sila. Isang mas passionate. Isang mas aggressive."
The Kapuso actor said he was nervous with Sheryl Cruz at first; it was his first time doing a kissing scene with someone older.
"Kinabahan po talaga ako, nag-prepare po talaga ako for this," he said.
But Sheryl was "napaka-professional. Ginuide niya talaga ako. Tinulungan niya ako," Jeric narrated.
Sheryl, on the other hand, said she knew what the audiences expected of her.
"Kailangan talagang makita ng audience na walang hestitation on my part because everybody expects so much of me especially in my age," Sheryl said.
The 45-year-old actor also said she's seen how Jeric has put his best foot forward considering this is his first matured role.
"Nakita ko naman din kay Jeric na nage-effort naman din siya at alam ko naman din na this is a first for him. Ayun sobrang matured 'yong role niya, parehas kami," she said.
Jeric recently bagged the Best Single Performance by an Actor at the PMPC awards.
"Magkaagaw" is set to premiere on GMA-7 on October 21. Other celebrities who will be in the drama series include Sunshine Dizon, Patricia Tumulak, Lovely Abella, Dennis Padilla, Polo Ravales and Isay Alvarez. — LA, GMA News
