This month officially marks my 25th year in GMA. that's a quarter of a century! i've spent more years IN @gmanews than Out of it since i started as a News Anchor in GMA NEWS LIVE before i even hit age 21....in a month and 2 days, i'll be 46 years old and i'm still here! 25 years is a very long time. it has not been without challenges, disappointments and heartbreaks. but as a wise woman (a boss of mine) once told me, you can look at it two ways: in a nutshell, look at what you've been through and ended up with and be happy...or NOT. I always say happiness is a choice, and i choose to be happy. Life is good. Everything I have is a blessing. it has been a great ride. Thank you @gmanetwork and a special thanks to Mr. Tony Seva for hiring me over two decades ago...... (Photo on the left taken on the set of GMA BALITA, the early morning Newscast that preceded Mornings@GMA and Unang Hirit. and yes, even then, i wore a lot of shorts...denim or otherwise.... i just chose to hide it then.... not anymore ????????‍?? photo on the right taken last week on the set of Unang Balita) (P.S. The cheeks still exist.....) @gmapublicaffairs #gmanews #gmanewstv #unanghirit @unanghirit #25years #aquarterofacentury

"In a month and 2 days, I'll be 46 years old and I'm still here!," she wrote.

The Kapuso host also said her 25 years in the network was not all fun as there were also challenges, disappointments and heartbreaks.

"But as a wise woman (a boss of mine) once told me, you can look at it two ways: in a nutshell, look at what you've been through and ended up with and be happy...or NOT," she said.

"I always say happiness is a choice, and I choose to be happy. Life is good. Everything I have is a blessing. it has been a great ride," she added.

Lyn also thanked the network and Tony Seva for hiring her two decades ago. —Ma. Angelica Garcia/LDF, GMA News
