Fans to flash birthday greetings for Alden Richards on LED billboards

You just might see birthday greetings for Alden Richards on billboards across Metro Manila and even Cebu today.

As the actor celebrates his 28th birthday on Thursday, January 2, fans decided to surprise him with birthday greetings, not in the form of a card, but on actual LED billboards.

On Tuesday, Twitter user @LeagueAlden announced that they were able to secure four billboards located at Robinsons Forum, EDSA Guadalupe, Fuente, Osmeña in Cebu, and Mall of Asia Globamaze in Pasay City.

The account said, "We are making history on 01.02.2020! A first for a local artist's bday greeting to be played on not just 1 or 2, but FOUR leading LED video screens in the country!"

The actor himself couldn't believe what his fans did for him. In a tweet, Alden said, "Thank you very much grabe kayo!"

According to @LeagueAlden, fan clubs League of Alden Angels and Warriors (L.A.W), Team No Group, Solid A Originals and NSSA sponsored the billboard greetings.
