Rachelle Ann Go shares lessons from Broadway, West End experience: 'Know your purpose'
Rachelle Ann Go is now a certified international theater diva after bagging roles on Broadway in New York and the West End in London.
The Filipina singer has played Fantine on "Les Miserables" and Eliza on "Hamilton," following the footsteps of renowned theater actress Lea Salonga.
In a report by Nelson Canlas on "24 Oras," Rachelle shared one of the lessons she learned from her experience on stage with the world's best.
"It's about knowing why you're singing, knowing your purpose," she said. "Hindi mo dapat iisipin kung sino 'yung nasa harap mo. As long as you're sharing your gift to people, that's the most important thing."
Rachelle is back in the Philippines for her Valentine's Day concert, which will feature songs from films and musicals.
"First time po akong mag-co-concert nang hindi ako sasayaw, thank you lord," Rachelle said. —MGP, GMA News
