Willie Revillame renews contract with GMA Network

Wowowin main man Willie Revillame renewed his contract with GMA Network on Monday, January 20.

Present during the contract signing were GMA Network Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Atty. Felipe L. Gozon; President and Chief Operating Officer Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr.; Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Felipe S. Yalong; First Vice President for Program Management Jose Mari Abacan; Vice President for Corporate Affairs and Communications Angela Javier Cruz; and Assistant Vice President for Program Management Mitzi Garcia. ­­­­­

Also in attendance were WBR Entertainment’s Atty. Alfonso G. Reyno III, General Counsel Atty. Ferdinand A. Domingo, and Financial Consultant Rodolfo B. Reyno, Jr.; and Wowowin’s newest director Gab Valenciano.

Kuya Wil said GMA Network never fails to make him feel that he belongs to be in the network as a Kapuso.

"Dito, part ka ng pamilya eh. Dito nayakap ka, lahat naman ganon pati dito nararamdaman mo 'yong concern tsaka 'yong walang nasasabing hindi maganda sayo," he said in an interview with GMA Entertainment reporters.

"Ang sarap ng feeling dito, lahat 'pag nakakasalubong mo mga tao dito, binabati ka. 'Eto talaga 'yong pamilya ko, pangalawang pamilya sa buhay ko," he added.

He said he appreciates the unity within GMA Network.

"Lahat ng programa dito maganda. May unity, nagkakaisa tsaka nagyayakapan," he said.

Mr. Gozon said he is impressed with Kuya Wil's hosting talent.

"At talagang pagdating sa hosting na-develop na ni Willie ang kanyang galing at siya 'yong tinatangkilik ng mga audience. 'Yon ang sikreto niya eh kaya nagkaron nga ng additional Saturday," he said.

"We're expecting him to continue with more success," he added.
