GMA Public Affairs documentaries recognized in Film Ambassadors' Night

Five GMA Public Affairs documentaries landed on the honorees list in the Film Ambassadors' Night (FAN).

The Atom Araullo Specials  received two honors for "Babies for sale" and "No Leftovers," which both bagged the Gold Camera Award at the US International Film and Video Festival.

"Islang Walang Lupa" from I-Witness, "Pasan" from Front Row, and "Piitan" from Investigative Documentaries also earned honors for winning Silver Screen Awards at the same festival.

Organized by the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), the FAN recognizes Filipino films, filmmakers, and artists who won awards in film festivals abroad.

Honorees are recognized in seven categories: short films, TV awards, technical and creative awards, actors, full-length films, special citations, and A-Listers. —MGP, GMA News
