Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes prepare menudo for frontliners in QC hospital
To show their appreciation for the frontliners battling the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes prepared homecooked meals for them.
The Kapuso celebrity couple mass cooked menudo for workers at the Quezon City General Hospital.
In a video posted by Marian on Instagram, the actress could be seen cooking while Dingdong packed the meals.
As a finishing touch, Marian wrote on the packaging, "We honor you for your service! Maraming salamat."
Dingdong also thanked frontliners for their dedication.
"Maraming salamat sa inyong dedikasyon para sa kaligtasan naming lahat. Panalangin namin ang inyong kalakasan habang kinakaharap at tinatalo natin ang krisis na ito," he said in the caption.
The Quezon City Health Department has reported on Wednesday 23 new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), bringing the total at 174. The total number of deaths remains at 27, while the number of recoveries remains at 11.
Infections nationwide rose to 2,311 on Wednesday, while the death toll climbed to 96. The number of recoveries has risen to 50.
