Ken Chan weeps while leading prayer on #HealingHearts FB live

Ken Chan could not help but turn emotional as he led a prayer to close his Facebook live video as part of the #HealingHearts concert series.

The actor looked solemn as he closed his eyes and put his hands together while the instrumental of "Heal Our Land" was playing in the background.

As he prayed for the country and the world in this time of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, tears fell on his cheeks.

In Nelson Canlas' report for "24 Oras," Ken said he was thinking about his family members who are frontliners in the fight against the COVID-19.

"Kinakabahan ako para sa kanila dahil malaking posibilidad na maapektuhan din po sila ng COVID-19 at mahawa din po sila. Pero hanga po ako sa kanilang lahat. Isa rin sila sa mga rason kung bakit ako naluha," he said.

Earlier, Ken already had to get himself together after singing "Heal Our Land" by Jamie Rivera.

Ken also sang "Awit ng Barkada" by APO Hiking Society and "Basta't Kasama Kita" by Dingdong Avanzado.

#HealingHearts is a fundraising campaign by the GMA Artist Center to help the Kapuso Foundation in aiding Filipinos who need support while Luzon is under enhanced community quarantine. --MGP, GMA News
