Heart Evangelista sends Vitamin C to Grab drivers, guards and hospital staff

Heart Evangelista is sending over some Vitamin C to the heroes on the frontlines battling the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

In a Facebook post, the Kapuso actress posted a photo showing boxes full of Poten-Cee she plans on giving to "unsung heroes."

"We fight as one. Sending some Vitamin C to our unsung heroes— Grab drivers, guards, hospital staff, and also some to Sorsogon. Hoping and praying that this will be over soon," she wrote.

Heart has also been donating cash, masks, and other necessities to individuals having a hard time amid the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon.

She has also been sending supplies to Sorsogon, where her husband Chiz Escudero serves as the governor.

As of Wednesday, the Philippines has reported 5,453 COVID-19 cases, 349 deaths, and 353 recoveries.

President Rodrigo Duterte has extended the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine until April 30 to contain the spread of the virus.
