Lara Quigaman and Marco Alcaraz are expecting their third child

Lara Quigaman and Marco Alcaraz announced on Thursday that they are expecting their third child.

In their first-ever family vlog, Lara revealed that she's 18 weeks pregnant and the news came as a surprise for her.

"Sana po na-surprise kayo kasi ako po na-surprise talaga ako ng bonggang bongga," she said in the video.

With the threat of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), however, Lara still cannot go to the hospital for checkups.

"Humihingi rin kaming prayers sainyo, si Lara kasi di pa siya nakakapunta sa hospital lately dahil sa mga nangyayari," Marco said.

Lara said she will be sharing more about her pregnancy in the next episodes of her vlog. 

"Marami tayong matutulungan na ibang mommies, 'yung mga buntis ngayon na kinakabahan," she said.

Lara and Marco have two children together: Noah and Tobin.

Other celebrities are also expecting amid the COVID-19 threat, including Dianne Medina and Rodjun Cruz, Rida Reyes and Cedric Castillo, Isabel Oli and John Prats, and Gian Sotto and wife Joy. —Jannielyn Bigtas/MGP, GMA News
