Andre Paras, Mikee Quintos spill the beans after fans notice their ‘chemistry’ in a vlog

Fans have been noticing the strong "chemistry" brewing between André Paras and Mikee Quintos when the Kapuso actors caught up with one another in one of Andre's recent vlogs.

In an interview with GMA News' Nelson Canlas aired on "24 Oras," the two spilled the beans about their close relationship, and said it all started when they starred in GMA-7's 2016 fantasy series "Encantadia" together.

When asked what was really going on between them on "24 Oras" last Wednesday, the actors clarified that they were both "single" and "happy" at the moment.

The two, however, admitted they knew each other quite well and enjoyed each other's company very much.

"I think that's what people really like, 'yung honesty po talaga," André said.

"Pag nagmi-meet-up po kami ni Mikee talaga, it’s more of hindi na kami nagbaba-bye. Hinihintay na lang naming lumaylay 'yung conversation, which never happens. So very rare lang yun," he added.

"Very rare lang 'yun," Mikee agreed. "Feeling ko... 'yun, gawa din 'yun ng quarantine eh. Parang lahat tayo nagiging pa-deep nowadays, alam mo yun?" she added.

André begged to disagree, saying Mikee actually inspires people around her to engage in meaningful conversations, even before the quarantine.

"Ito na naman, palusot eh," André told Mikee.

"Nung hindi naman quarantine sobrang deep mo kaya, kahit sino kahit pag kinakausap mo sa set, alam mo yun? Parang meron silang insights, parang new person sila dahil sayo," he added.

André also had a funny reaction when Mikee asked him why he decided to try a clean-shaven look after their conversation in her vlog.

"Huh? Basta!" the actor said.

Mikee pressed him further, asking: "Bakit ka nag-shave!?” to which André replied: “Message na lang kita."
