Faith Cuneta sings theme song of Korean drama 'Misty' airing on GMA-7

Faith Cuneta has made her comeback as the original Koreanovela diva after singing the theme song of K-drama "Misty."

The series, which will air on GMA Heart of Asia starting on Monday after "Meant To Be," is a murder mystery story with a dash of romance.

Faith recorded "It Must Have Been Love," originally sung by the Swedish pop rock duo Roxette, for the drama.

"First time ko talagang kumanta in a recording studio after a long time because of COVID tapos the studio naman made sure na sanitized so ok naman," she said in Aubrey Carampel's report for "24 Oras."

Faith previously sang the theme songs of iconic K-dramas "Endless Love," "Winter Sonata," "Stairway to Heaven," "Jumong," and "Jewel in the Palace."

"'Yung 'Stairway' ang bata pa ng boses ko, imagine 17 years ago. Eto nga itong song na 'to, ay iba na, parang nag-mature na nga," she said.

"Misty" stars Kim Nam Joo, who previously appeared in "Unexpected You," and Ji Jin Hee, who is known for his role as Captain Min in "Jewel in the Palace."

Kim Nam Joo plays Arianne Go, a media anchor who becomes a suspect for a murder case.

Ji Jin Hee, meanwhile, plays her husband Tommy, a lawyer who defends her in the case. —MGP, GMA News
