Mikee Quintos edits music video for her single 'Ngayon' with help from celebrity friends

Mikee Quintos dropped a music video for her new single "Ngayon" on her YouTube channel on Sunday.

According to Cata Tibayan's report on "24 Oras," Mikee even edited the video herself!

Featuring clips of happy moments from her celebrity friends, the video has shades of the "Stuck With U," the collaboration from Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande.

"I want it to inspire people na gamitin 'yung time na meron tayo ngayon. Gawin na ngayon lahat ng hindi nila nagagawa before and see the brighter side to things with everything that's going on," she said.

"Kahit ang lungkot ng news, kahit ang lungkot ng mga nangyayari sa atin, it's up to us to make good news for us, for ourselves," she added.

Among the clips include Solenn Heussaff bonding with her family, Max Collins giving birth to her son, and Janine Gutierrez playing with her dog. 

Netizens loved the song itself, with the melody and lyrics spreading good vibes amid the coronavirus pandemic.

"This is what we need now. A positive and hopeful song for a better future for all of us after this," one comment read.
