BTS, Park Bo Gum to appear on 'Hallypop' this September

K-Pop boy group BTS and Korean star Park Bo Gum are set to appear on Hallypop, the first Asian pop culture digital channel in the Philippines.

BTS and Park Bo Gum will be appearing on Korean reality-variety show "Running Man" on September 20, a report on GMANetwork.com said.

Bo Gum will be on the show from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m, while BTS will be featured from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.

Broadcast giants GMA Network and Jungo TV are behind Hallypop, which will carry hit K-Pop shows "Running Man," and "Music Bank."

According to a report on Unang Balita on Monday, the channel will be a one-stop shop for K-entertainment and other hit Asian shows.

Hallypop can be accessed through GMA Affordabox.

The news about BTS, Park Bo Gum and Hallypop comes with much hype as BTS has been making waves in the music industry after the release of their all-English song "Dynamite." The K-Pop boy group is the first Korean artist to debut on the top spot of U.S. Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
