Netflix’s inspiring coming-of-age K-drama "Record of Youth" aired its 16th and final episode this week, and fans are reeling over the cast’s tear-jerking goodbye posts.

Park Bo-gum, who plays an aspiring actor named Sa Hye-jun, shared some memorable selfies on set, together with a heartfelt message to his fans.

Apart from its talented cast, fans appreciated the K-drama's hopeful yet honest take on how achieving your goals can affect your friends, family and relationship.

In a heartwarming final episode that arrived on Netflix this Tuesday, Hye-jun decided to go join the marines after a painful break-up with An Jeong-ah, who wanted to chase her dreams without anyone's help.

The two have a blissful reunion 18 months later, with Jeong-ah as a successful make-up artist and Hye-jun at the peak of his acting career.
