Ruru Madrid, Shaira Diaz undergo online training for fight scenes in ‘Lolong’

Ruru Madrid and Shaira Diaz, who are set to star in the upcoming action-adventure series “Lolong,” have undergone online training for their fight scenes.

In a “24 Oras” report on Wednesday, the actors can be seen shadow boxing and doing different techniques as they follow a trainer.

“Masaya, kahit online, marami na kami natutunan,” Shaira said. “Medyo mahirap.”

Ruru said their goal in training was to improve their form “para once na nakasalang na kami sa TV, may fight scenes na kami, ’yung form namin nangingibabaw.”

“Lolong” is said to be GMA’s biggest action-adventure series yet. Ruru is set to be the main character of the show while Shaira and Arra San Agustin will be his leading ladies. – Kaela Malig/RC, GMA News
