Derek Ramsay: 'Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me'

Derek Ramsay has shared his first post on Instagram since confirming his breakup with Andrea Torres.

The British-Filipino actor posted a photo of his parents, and used a hashtag that says "sticks and stones can break my bones but words will never hurt me."

Derek also penned a short caption expressing how thankful he felt to have parents who loved him "unconditionally."

“Thank you lord for my parents who are always there for me and love me unconditionally,” he said.

“Mum and Dad thank you for everything you have done for me and the family. Thank you for keeping me strong, thank you for believing in me and thank you for protecting me,” he added.

Rumors about the breakup began to circulate after Andrea unfollowed her "The Better Woman" co-star on Instagram. The two have also removed photos of each other from their feeds.

Derek first confirmed the breakup as he defended Andrea in the comments section of his Instagram, saying that there was no third party involved.

His Instagram account has since been set on private.

Andrea had also returned to Instagram last week, with a stunning beauty portrait that didn't have a caption. —JCB, GMA News
