Mr. M names 6 Kapuso stars he would love to work with

Johnny Manahan, a.k.a. the "Mr. M" who shined the light on some of the brightest stars in Philippine showbiz, is now officially a Kapuso.

In an online interview after signing a contract with GMA Network on Tuesday, the renowned starbuilder and director shared that his team was already getting familiar with GMA Artist Center.

Mr. M also expressed excitement to work with the network's talented pool of artists, and even named a few Kapuso stars he would love to work with, if given the chance.

"First, I hope I can talk to them through Zoom and, maybe one day, meet them in the flesh," he told GMA News Online.

"People like si Alden [Richards], we've worked with him before when he did a movie with Kathryn Bernardo. [He's] a very nice boy, very capable."

Mr. M also mentioned Kapuso Primetime Couple Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, the Queen of Creative Collaborations, Heart Evangelista, and "First Yaya" star Sanya Lopez.

Last but not least, Mr. M said he would also love to work with Bea Alonzo again.

The award-winning actress joined the Kapuso family after signing a contract with GMA Network earlier this month.

Mr. M said he would also like to know and meet the younger stars from the network.

According to Mr. M, the main goal of his team is to "develop a new breed of GMA artists."

"Kung ano pa 'yung kulang sa kanila we hope to develop that and give them a brighter shine. So abangan ninyo, mga Kapuso," he said.
