Is Andrea Torres going to be in a sitcom with John Lloyd Cruz?

The Kapuso actress, who renewed her contract with GMA on Friday, said she’s “praying” for the possible project to happen, but no official announcement had been made.

“Wala pa pong official na nasabi sa ’kin, narinig ko lang din po sa mga usap-usapan,” she told GMA News Online.

“Mahirap naman i-claim until mangyari talaga pero pinagpe-pray ko siya, sana po.”

[Nothing is official, I only heard about it in some conversations. Of course, it would be hard to make claims about something that has yet to happen, but I’m praying for it! I’m hoping for it.]

Fans were hyped after “Wowowin” host Willie Revillame bared plans to make a sitcom starring Andrea and John Lloyd.

The news came last month shortly before the award-winning actor made his TV comeback on a special showcase aired on GMA-7.

Andrea renewed her contract with GMA Network on July 16, 2021, after more than 10 years as a loyal Kapuso. – RC, GMA News
