Kylie Padilla shares the most challenging part of shooting GL series ‘BetCin’
Kylie Padilla has shared the challenges she faced while shooting the upcoming GL (girls’ love) series “BetCin” with Andrea Torres.
According to the actress, being away from her kids Axl and Alas during taping was the most challenging part for her.
"It was really hard to let go of my kids pero parang sabi ko nga sa sarili ko if I have to accept a project it has to be worth the time away from them and the risk," she said. "Kasi every time you have to go out there’s a risk eh."
Kylie believes that "BetCin" "is so worth it and I knew it di pa kami nag-sa-start alam ko eh, alam ko na maeenjoy ko ‘to."
"Kaya um-oo ako it’s that kind of project, it’s worth it, it’s worth all of those risks and being away from them pansamantala," she added.
Kylie said she believed that her kids would like "BetCin" too when they watch in the future.
Meanwhile, Kylie said she fell in love with her character and she knew she would enjoy playing Beth in the series.
Both Andrea and Kylie agreed that saying goodbye to the whole cast and crew was also one of the hardest parts of doing "BetCin."
Kylie and Andrea will play a social media celebrity couple in a seemingly perfect relationship, online that is. Behind the filtered posts, things are not so smooth sailing for Beth (Kylie) and Cindy (Andrea).
Their differing priorities and needs begin pulling them apart, the gap widening the higher their number of followers, the Umamis, get.
"BetCin" is set to premiere on Oct. 18 at 8 p.m. on We TV Philippines. New episodes will drop every Friday.
In July, Kylie's father Robin Padilla confirmed that she and Aljur Abrenica had separated.
Kylie recently broke her silence on reports saying her ex-husband was dating sexy actress AJ Raval.
According to an exclusive interview published by PEP.ph, Kylie said her only wish was for Aljur to be happy as he remained the father of her two sons. – RC, GMA News
