SEVENTEEN becomes 1st regional happiness ambassadors of Lazada

SEVENTEEN has been appointed as Lazada’s first regional happiness ambassadors!

In a press statement, Chief Operating Officer Raymond Yang said the K-Pop group was chosen because of their talent and “lively personalities,” which will hopefully serve as inspiration for their consumers.

“I hope SEVENTEEN can inspire our consumers across Southeast Asia to stay bold and passionate in experimenting new ideas, and to continue pursuing goals and dreams with the trust that challenges along the way can be overcome,” it read.

As the new ambassadors, SEVENTEEN is set to headline the platform's “11.11 Super Show” happening next month. They will perform some of their hits including “Left & Right” and “Ready to Love.”

The event will also feature other stars from the region including Bea Alonzo, Alden Richards, and Maine Mendoza. It will be broadcasted on GMA Network as well as on Lazada’s app and social media pages.

Earlier Wednesday, Lazada released a short film featuring SEVENTEEN, where they’re seen going into a “dynamic and fantastical realm filled with larger-than-life” stuff and rewards.

They also did not fail to show their skills by playfully dancing to a special rendition of Flo Rida’s “Low.”

As of writing, the hashtag #LazadaxSEVENTEEN is among the top trending topics on Philippine Twitter.

Composed of 13 members, SEVENTEEN made their debut in 2015 under Pledis Entertainment. The K-pop group is best known for songs "Don't Wanna Cry," "Ready to Love," and "Home."
