'Voltes V: Legacy' director shares cool behind-the-scenes look at green screen technology
Have you been wondering how “Voltes V: Legacy” will be able to achieve all those awesome team flight scenes in the series?
Director Mark Reyes just shared a behind-the-scenes look at the cockpit gimbal rig that the actors will ride for cockpit flight sequences.
According to Direk Mark, the “mean green machine” turns 360 degrees and tilts/pitches and yaws to simulate the movement of a fighter plane.
Cool, huh?
GMA-7’s “Voltes V: Legacy” stars Miguel Tanfelix as team leader Steve Armstrong; Radson Flores as Mark Gordon; Matt Lozano as “Big Bert” Armstrong; Ysabel Ortega as Jamie Robinson; and Raphael Landicho as “Little Jon” Armstrong.
According to Direk Mark, the team officially started filming the highly-anticipated live-action adaptation in May.
