Jak Roberto's new military film is giving Barbie Forteza 'Descendants of the Sun' vibes
Jak Roberto is playing a military man in an upcoming movie and his girlfriend Barbie Forteza is digging it.
On Instagram, the Kapuso actor shared a first look at his new project, saying it was a film by veteran award-winning director Joel Lamangan, who famously directed GMA’s primetime series “Pamilya Roces" and the LGBT-themed Pinoy film “Rainbow’s Sunset."
“‘Madawag ang landas patungo sa pag-asa’ film,” he wrote in the caption.
Jak posted a photo of himself wearing a Philippine Army uniform in the middle of a field.
He had also shared a pic of his new crew cut a few days earlier, saying he was “Lt. Randy Meneses.”
Jak's sneak peek got many fans excited for him on Instagram, including his supportive girlfriend Barbie Forteza.
"Song Joong Ki," the actress said in a comment, comparing him to the male lead in the hit military K-drama "Descendants of the Sun."
Jak quickly got the reference, and replied: "Hi Song Hye Kyo."
