Kim Domingo to headline ‘Wish Ko Lang’ Christmas special ‘Lihim ng Punerarya’

Kim Domingo will headline the “Wish Ko Lang” Christmas special titled “Lihim ng Punerarya” on Dec. 11.

In an online interview on Wednesday, the Kapuso actress said she would play Ashley, a scammer who wished to ask forgiveness from her mom, who would be played by Lotlot de Leon.

According to Kim, the story of “Lihim ng Punerarya,” although a bit “creepy,” is perfect for the holidays amid the pandemic because it tackles family, love, and understanding between loved ones.

Portraying heavy scenes with Lotlot, Kim said she felt “pressured,” but she made sure that she gave it her all. More than anything else, she was also grateful to star alongside the veteran.

In fact, her favorite scene from the shoot was the one where they had a heart-to-heart talk and cried.

The lessons she learned as Ashley, meanwhile, included the power of karma and changing for the better.

“Crying does not pay. Kapag meron tayong ginawa, may kaparasuhan talaga so anumang gawin natin, may magiging balik sa atin ’yan,” said Kim.

“Pangalawa, kung meron tayong nagawang pagkakamali, nando’n pa rin yung chance natin para itama siya, baguhin kung ano man yung pagkakamali na ’yon. Sabi nga nila, hindi pa huli ang lahat.”

“Lihim ng Punerarya” is part of the four-story specials of “Wish Ko Lang.” The other three episodes will be headlined by Barbie Forteza, Jean Garcia, and Max Collins. – RC, GMA News
