Jo Berry on deprioritizing her love life this year, having new goals, and how 'Little Princess' helped her

While she has two leading men in "Little Princess" including Rodjun Cruz and Juancho Triviño, Jo Berry says love life is not a priority for her in real life.

In an interview with the internal press of GMA Network on Wednesday, Jo Berry was asked if there is someone special in her life.

"Wala lang po siya ngayon sa isip ko. Parang masyado akong maraming kailangan unahin muna," she said.

Jo said her goal is to take a lot of risks in 2022, a big deal for someone who's always careful.

"Natutunan ko nung 2021 na mabilis lang ang buhay natin. Gawin na natin mga gusto natin gawin and at the same time pa-feel natin doon sa mga tao na mahal natin sila," she said.

According to Jo, working on "Little Princess" became something of an escape for her, as she dealt with the loss of three family members — her dad, brother, and grandfather — last year.

Jo said "Little Princess" helped her decide to move forward without taking any pauses despite what happened.

"Little Princess" is set to premiere on GMA-7 on January 10. Other stars who will be on the show include Rodjun Cruz, Juancho Triviño, Angelika Dela Cruz, Geneva Cruz, Chuckie Dreyfuss, Lander Vera Perez, Therese Malvar, and Jestoni Alarcon. — LA, GMA News
