Troy Montero tests positive for COVID-19, suffers from various symptoms

Troy Montero has tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), he announced Monday.

With photos of his current situation at his “little recovery camp” at home, Troy said among his symptoms include cold, dry cough, fever, headache, and body ache. 

“Besides the headache, the body ache for me is the worst feeling. It’s like sitting down but you can never get comfortable. You’re always shifting and moving every few seconds. It’s that painful,” he wrote.

He is currently on his fourth day of isolation. Troy said he’s been taking supplements and medicine for recovery and is now “definitely feeling better” with “quite mild” symptoms.

According to Troy, he’s fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and was scheduled to get his booster soon.

As he battles with the virus while isolated, Troy wished for his family’s safety and health “as [I] watch them from a distance.”
