Jamir Zabarte says Zonia Mejia is his source of inspiration

If there's anything that gets Jamir Zabarte moving each day, it's Zonia Mejia.

In a recent online interview with the press, the Kapuso actor described Zonia as someone that keeps him motivated to reach for his goals and become a better person.

"Si Zonia 'yung nakaka-inspire sa 'kin. Siya 'yung dahilan kung bakit ako nag-move forward. Siya dahilan kung bakit ako gumigising nang maaga, nag-workout ako, ginagawa ko task ko for the day," he said.

["Zonia inspires me. She's the reason why I move forward. She's the reason why I wake up early, work out, do my tasks for the day."]

"Sa totoo lang, 'yon naman 'yung kailangan. 'Pag nasimulan mo na siya, naging consistent ka sa bagay na ginagawa mo, mas lalo mo pang ma-iimprove sarili mo," he added. "Siya 'yung dahilan no'n."

["Honestly, that's what we need. When you start something and become consistent in doing it, you will improve yourself more. She's the reason I can do that."]

Meanwhile, Zonia said her and Jamir's on and off-screen relationship are pretty much the same. Either way, they are already very much comfortable when they're together.

"We are very, very special to each other. We comfort each other and we cheer each other. Sa lowest and sa highest point ng life namin, nando'n kami sa isa't isa," she said.

"We are grateful for each other, na magkasama kami palagi, and happy kami together," she continued.

["In the lowest and highest point of our lives, we're there for each other. We're grateful for each other, that we're always together and we're happy together."]

Jamir and Zonia are one of the five Sparkle Sweethearts. They first made Kapuso viewers kilig as Buddy and Sol in the 2021 romantic-comedy series "Heartful Cafe."
