Faith da Silva to release ‘Sana Sabihin Mo Na Lang,’ a song for those who can’t let go

Faith da Silva will tug at listeners’ heartstrings with the release of her first single titled “Sana Sabihin Mo Na Lang” this Friday.

Composed by Rina Mercado, the song is dedicated to those who can’t seem to leave a situation that’s no longer serving them, according to Faith.

“Ang story niya is nasa isang relationship pa rin siya kahit ang hirap na magkasama kayo. Tinutuloy niyo pa rin nang tinutuloy, which is not good,” she said in an online interview with the press.

“Alam niyo ’yung kapag nasa isang relationship at hindi na tayo masaya sa relationship pero pilit nating inaayos, pilit nagse-stay kahit alam na hindi dapat. Para (ito) sa mga naghihintay at hirap mag-let go.”

According to the Kapuso artist, she recalled her own past experiences to deliver the right emotions for the song.

“Lahat ng words or yung mga lines na binabanggit ko do’n habang kinakanta ko siya, ramdam ko talaga. Hindi siya madali,” she said. “Nando’n ako sa situation na ayoko na.”

Faith’s been single for about two years now, and is enjoying the time she has for herself and her family.

“Sana Sabihin Mo Na Lang” will be available for streaming on all platforms starting Feb. 25. It will be released under GMA Playlist. – RC, GMA News
