On Athena Madrid’s birthday, brother Ruru says he is super proud of her

Athena and Ruru Madrid had the cutest exchange on Instagram as the actor marked his sister’s birthday.

Sharing a mirror selfie of them wearing matching outfits followed by a throwback photo of them as kids, Ruru expressed how lucky he is to have her as his sister. 

“Happy Birthday, Re! Sobrang proud ako sa 'yo. Always remember na nandito ako lagi whenever you need me. I love you, Happy Birthday,” he wrote in the caption.

To which, Rere replied with a heart: “Kuya, thank you. I love you and I miss you.”

Though they don’t really post about each other that much on Instagram, these siblings have made sure to still leave comments on their updates from time to time.

Just last February, Ruru reacted to when Athena received Valentine gifts from a secret admirer.

Rere made her television debut through the concluded GMA-7 drama “To Have and To Hold.” She has since captivated everyone with both her talent and beauty.
