Jericho Rosales receives acting nomination in Los Angeles awards for short film 'Basurero'

Jericho Rosales received an acting nomination in the NewFilmmakers Los Angeles (NMFLA) Awards for his performance in the short film "Basurero."

Directed by Eileen Cabiling, "Basurero" follows a desperate fisherman who dumps dead bodies in the sea for the vigilantes of the anti-drug war.

The film was nominated in the International Drama category while Jericho was nominated in the Performance (Drama) category.

"This little jeepney made it to Hollywood!" Jericho wrote on his Instagram. "Cheers team!"
