Gina Alajar reveals feeling kilig over Bea Alonzo and Alden Richards in 'Start-up'

Gina Alajar just added her voice to the many viewers who felt kilig over the chemistry between Bea Alonzo and Alden Richards in "Start-Up."

The GMA-7 adaptation of the 2020 hit Korean series, which will premiere in September, recently released a teaser showing a cute moment Bea and Alden staring at each other.

As a co-star of the two in the show, Gina has seen their chemistry up close.

"Ako kinikinilig pag ka-eksena ko silang dalawa and they have those sweet moments na ganun," said the veteran actress in a media conference on Friday.

("I feel giddy when I'm doing a scene with them and they have those sweet moments.")

Gina plays the role of Mrs. Choi, who comes to the aid of Good Boy or the character in the original series named Han Ji Pyeong.

"Nahihiya lang ako mag-joke sa kanila because in respect to Bea's boyfriend, si Dominic [Roque], na mahal na mahal ko rin na bata," she said about Bea and Alden.

("I feel shy teasing them in respect to Bea's boyfriend, Dominic, a young man who I also love.")

"But they have good chemistry. Bea and Alden, they have very good chemistry, so 'yung joke ko I just keep it to myself," she added.

Bea and Alden previously showed their chemistry in a commercial for a shampoo brand.

They are also starring together in a film inspired by the Japanese series "Pure Soul," which was remade into the hit South Korean movie "A Moment to Remember" that starred Son Ye Jin and Jung Woo Sung.
