Precious Paula Nicole pens touching letter after ‘Drag Race Philippines' win

Who else is still on a high from Precious Paula Nicole’s historic win at “Drag Race Philippines?”

Nearly a week after her victor, the series’ first winning queen finally took to social media with a heartwarming post to not just give thanks for the support she's received, but to also talk about the challenges she went through before the coronation.

“From the bottom of my Precious heart.. I'm very humbled and I'm very grateful. Hindi naging madali ang mga pinagdaanan ko (namin) sa loob ng competition,” she began.

“Simula pa lang ng pagpasok ko sa ‘Drag Race,’ sabi ko lang sa sarili ko, hope for the best and expect [for] the worst. Kaya sabi ko basta wag lang ako maunang umuwi ay masayang masaya na ako,” Precious added.

At the coronation night, Precious shared that she prepared herself and accepted that she wouldn’t win, “and I’m okay with it.”

She said, “Sobra sobra na sa hiniling ko ang naibigay kaya wala na 'kong karapatan para umarte pa.”

But following her unexpected yet much-deserved win, Precious Paula Nicole made sure to thank the people who believe in her.

“Gusto ko lang munang taos pusong magpasalamat sa mga taong hindi ako sinukuan, tinalikuran at binitawan na talaga namang naging susi ng ating munting tagumpay,” she said.

“MAHAL NA MAHAL KO KAYO. Habambuhay kayong nakaukit sa aking puso at alaala.”

The queen added, “Asahan nyong patuloy kong gagawin ang nasimulan ko. Basta andyan kayo, ANDITO LANG DIN AKO.”

Precious also made sure to dedicate her win to her mom.

“Mama, sana masaya at proud ka sakin. Para satin ito. Maraming salamat sa lahat ng pagmamahal at pangaral na binigay mo. Malapit na matupad ang pangarap mo na makumpleto kami ulit.”

To end, the winning queen then gave some words of motivation to her followers.

“PILIIN MO KUNG SAAN KA MAGIGING MASAYA. WAG KANG MAKINIG SA GUSTO NG IBA,” she said.

Once known for her impersonations of Beyonce, Mariah Carey, and Regine Velasquez among other divas, Precious Paula Nicole showcased her drag talent, wit, creativity, and heart on the show to beat 11 other drag queens and bag the first-ever crown of "Drag Race Philippines."

A well-deserved win, indeed.
