Carla Abellana shares biggest lesson learned the past year: 'You have only yourself to help you'

Carla Abellana got real in her latest interview, where she opened up about the lessons she recently learned.

In the past year, the Kapuso actress has been through a lot and was the subject of showbiz news, most especially regarding her divorce from Tom Rodriguez.

In an episode of “Luis Listens” on Luis Manzano’s YouTube channel, Carla revealed the most important lesson she learned through it all.

“We will really never know ano 'yung mangyayari,” she said. “We may make plans or we see everything — nandito tayo sa mundo, tayo nagaasikaso lahat, but sometimes life just hits you."

“Parang ganun na hindi mo talaga alam what’s going to happen tomorrow. What you have is just today," she added.

Carla also said that despite how things are planned out and organized, “there are times na unpredictable talaga ang buhay.”

While she agreed that she went through a “low point,” she also realized that “you have only yourself to help you.”

She added, “I’m not saying naman na we’re alone or anything. But 'yun bang there are times when you can only depend on yourself, or sarili mo lang 'yung tutulong sa sarili mo.”
