The "Voltes V: Legacy" mega trailer dropped during the GMA New Year Countdown, and it's five glorious minutes of awesome—five minutes and 20 seconds of awesome if we're being precise.

None other than Alden Richards introduced the mega trailer, which was filled to the brim with its much-talked about sets, incredible beast fighters, and more cast introductions.

The mega trailer featured a new jaw-dropping cast reveal: Dennis Trillo will play Ned Armstrong, the father of Steve, Big Bert, and Little Jon.

Also included are footage of Martin del Rosario, Liezel Lopez, Epi Quizon, and Carla Abellana in character and in iconic scenes pulled straight from the anime.

A previous teaser showed the main cast of Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Radson Flores, Matt Lozano, and Raphael Landicho in their costumes.

According to Helen Sese, AVP of GMA Drama, the mega trailer is TOEI-approved. The Japanese animation company saw the final edit just this week and was "super impressed," she told GMA News Online.

The five-minute trailer is now also available online.
