Maggie Wilson shares her 2023 resolution: 'I will no longer let people walk all over me'

Maggie Wilson took to social media to share how challenging 2022 was for her.

On Instagram Sunday, the former beauty queen wrote a lengthy caption on a video compilation of her 2022 highlights.

"2022, you were tough," Maggie began. "I cried the most I've ever cried this year."

Maggie said there were many instances in the previous year when she wanted to give up, yet she stood tall despite it all.

"I faked a [smile] on so many days [that] I felt sad. I don't wish that on anyone, even those who hurt me the most," she said.

For 2023, Maggie said that this year would be different as she is set to "take control" of her mental and emotional well-being.

"I will no longer let people walk all over me," she wrote. "Many people may not like me because I've changed[,] but that's OK."

The model and content creator added that the changes she's currently implementing are solely for her piece of mind. She then thanked the people who stayed with her through her ups and downs.

"To the family, friends and people who have shown me love, compassion and given me support, [I] appreciate you. Thank you," she said.

"Cheers to a better new year!" she concluded.

In September 2021, Maggie announced her split from her ex-husband Victor Consunji.

In July 2022, Maggie aired out how she feared for her life after representatives from the Victor Consunji Development Corporation, DMCI, and the local barangay of Bambang in Taguig allegedly entered her home illegally.
