Barbie Forteza says 'The Way You Look at Me' has sentimental value for her

Barbie Forteza and David Licauco made their fans kilig recently when they starred in the music video for Ben&Ben's cover of "The Way You Look at Me."

In Nelson Canlas's report on "24 Oras," Monday, Barbie said the project has special significance for her.

"May sentimental value sa akin kasi childhood crush ko si Mr. Christian Bautista dati and alam niya po ito," she said.

"Ang dami mong childhood crush ah," David commented.

Barbie then narrated how she met Christian when she was a child, making the music video a full circle moment for her.

The singer also had a special participation in the music video.

"Nung six years old ako, nagpunta ako sa mall show niya sa amin, sa Biñan, Laguna tapos nag-duet kami ng kantang 'to," Barbie said.

Christian previously shared an Instagram reel with a photo of the performance he and Barbie did.

Meanwhile, Ben&Ben's "Kayumanggi" also had a music video featuring the stars of "Maria Clara at Ibarra," including David and Barbie's characters, Fidel and Klay.
