Snooky Serna says Albert Martinez was her first love

Snooky Serna just spilled the beans on her love history with Albert Martinez.

On Wednesday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the veteran actress said she remembers Albert, her ex and former on-screen partner, as her first love.

Snooky said that her fondest memory of Albert was when she agreed to be his girlfriend at 14 years old.

“First time na sinagot ko siya [was when I was 14],” Snooky said. “Sinabi ko na talaga, ni-profess ko yung pagmamahal ko sa kaniya na sinabi kong ‘I love you too’.”

According to Snooky, her parents supported her then relationship with Albert and welcomed him with open arms.

“Love comes to us in all ages, walang pinipiling edad ‘yan, and I thank my parents for having been so trusting,” she said.

Snooky also recalled how she and Albert celebrated their first anniversary as a couple.

“‘Yung first anniversary namin, nagpunta pa kami sa Antipolo, gusto namin magtanan na,” she recalled.

“We went to Antipolo para magtanan na kaya lang sinumpong si Albert ng asthma niya so bumalik kami,” she added.

In the episode, Snooky also revealed that while Albert was her first love, Miguel Rodriguez was her great love.

"He is the Filipino version of Super Man, Christopher Reeves," Snooky said. "Just talking about him — it unsettles me," she added, laughing to break the clear tension.

As a veteran actress, Snooky has worked with some of the most famous leading men in Philippine media, including Gabby Concepcion and Richard Gomez.

Snooky’s most prominent movies where she starred in include “Blusang Itim,” “Bata Pa Si Sabel,” and “Battered Husband.” She also starred in the GMA series “Underage.” — Hermes Joy Tunac/LA, GMA Integrated News
