Judy Ann Santos touched by Claudine Barretto's kind words, wants to work with Optimum Star

Judy Ann Santos admitted that she was touched to hear Claudine Barretto's kind words for her when the Optimum Star guested on "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda."

On Tuesday, it was Judy Ann's turn to sit with the King of Talk and said that she saw Claudine's interview. 

The 45-year-old actress said that she got teary-eyed over Claudine's thoughts on their rivalry back in the '90s.

"Tama si Claudine eh, we never really had the chance to be close nung mga bata kami," she said. "We're very good friends, we're OK, we never just had that chance to go out and, you know, be really close."

Claudine said they were pitted against each other when they were younger, but they never had any beef towards each other.

"People think that we don't get along or we never [get] along, but [the] truth is that, you know, even noong debut niya, right after, I remember that it was a Sunday and everything was closed, the after-party was in my condominium," Claudine recalled.

She also said that working with Judy Ann has always been on her bucket list, and Juday echoed her sentiment.

"A project with Claudine? Of course, why not," Judy Ann said. "I think hindi lang naman dahil sa hinihingi ng mga tao, but I think it would be a very interesting project."

Claudine also said she would never forget Judy Ann's respect towards her as a fellow actress.

"In one of her interviews they said that she is the 'Teleserye Queen,' she said 'No. Claudine and I share this title,'" Claudine said.

"I will never forget that Boy, till the day I die."
