Bea Alonzo says she is not afraid to be out of the limelight: ‘Lahat tayo darating don’
Bea Alonzo is not afraid to become a has-been.
On Thursday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the King of Talk asked Bea: “Natatakot ka bang malaos?”
“Sa totoo, Tito Boy, hindi, to be totally honest with you,” Bea firmly answered.
“Because I believe, lahat tayo darating don. You have to be gracious about it,” she continued.
“You have to be able to pass the baton to another woman with grace because you’ve had your time, you were able to do the things that you wanted to do, and it’s about time to give the chance to others, and you always have to be gracious about it,” the Kapuso actress added.
Bea also said that she’s happy because her past works are still being appreciated.
“And you know what, I’m just so happy that my body of work, until now, they’re being appreciated online and sometimes even on social media and these characters will always be immortalized by my fans,” she said.
Bea and Tito Boy join fellow judges Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes and Jose Manalo for the upcoming talent show “Battle of the Judges.”
It is set to air on GMA starting on July 15. It will be hosted by Alden Richards.
Bea is also working on her upcoming series “Love Before Sunrise” with Dennis Trillo, Andrea Torres, Sid Lucero, Nadia Montenegro, Sef Cadayona, Cheska Fausto, and Vince Maristela.
It is a collaboration between GMA Network and Viu Philippines, and taping started in April. The series follows soulmates, whose right love happens at the wrong time. — Carby Basina/LA, GMA Integrated News
