Heart Evangelista shares reason why she wasn't at Lovi Poe's wedding

Heart Evangelista was among the much-awaited guests at her best friend Lovi Poe’s wedding, and fans were left wondering why she did not attend, even speculating that there had been a fall-out.

The Kapuso actress and style icon addressed the rumors by commenting on a viral TikTok video that had the caption, “Lovi at Heart hindi na BFF."

According to a report on PEP.ph, Heart commented: "My dad is in the hospital.”

Heart did not give any more details, the report added.

Heart and Lovi previously worked together in the 2011 remake of “Temptation Island.”

According to a GMA Entertainment report, Lovi was also a bridesmaid for Heart’s wedding to Chiz Escudero.

Lovi and film producer Monty Blancowe tied the knot at the Cliveden House in the UK after two years of engagement. Lovi walked down the aisle while “Pangarap Ko Ang Ibigin Ka,” popularized by Regine Velasquez, played in the background.
