Barbie Forteza, David Licauco react to Joshua Garcia's best-dressed comment

Barbie Forteza and David Licauco shared their reactions after Joshua Garcia said that the actress was the best-dressed GMA Gala attendee!

Barbie told GMA News Online that she was "flattered" after the actor complimented her look.

"Flattered, of course, kasi pinaghirapan ng team ko ‘yung overall look ko and para mapansin niya is such a nice thing naman from him," she said.

The Kapuso Primetime Princess also said that she was open to working with Joshua should the opportunity arise.

"Well, ngayon na medyo nawawala na ang ating network barrier, it’s more possible na na magkatrabaho kami, and I’m looking forward to that, dahil I always look forward to working with new actors, new experience," she said.

Meanwhile, David agreed that Barbie looked elegant at the event.

"Totoo naman na maganda naman talaga yung suot niya that day and bagay sa kaniya," he said. "Nagko-compliment siya sa color ni Barbie. So, yeah, very, very elegant."

In July, Barbie stunned at the GMA Gala in a minimalist Ehrran Montoya mint green gown, which Joshua admired.

"Hindi s'ya ganun ka-flashy pero at the same time, nandun yung pagka-elegante nung babae," Joshua said.

After Barbie noticed his compliments, the two had a cute interaction on X (formerly Twitter).

Barbie and David will star in "Maging Sino Ka Man," which will premiere on September 11.

It is Team BarDa’s return to GMA Telebabad, following their incredibly successful love team in the historical portal fantasy series "Maria Clara at Ibarra."

"Maging Sino Ka Man" is a remake of the iconic '90s film of the same name starring Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla.

Joshua currently stars in "Unbreak My Heart" with Gabbi Garcia, Jodi Sta. Maria, and Richard Yap.  — VBL, GMA Integrated News
