Barbie Forteza, David Licauco admit feeling pressure in first lead role as Team BarDa

Barbie Forteza and David Licauco are set to take on their first lead roles as a love team in "Maging Sino Ka Man."

In Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras," Thursday, Team BarDa was asked if they felt any pressure in remaking the project that was first played by Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla.

"I think 'yung pressure is coming from eto 'yung first lead namin as BarDa kasi," Barbie said.

"Ito 'yung first show namin na kami 'yung lead, so s'yempre 'yung pressure na pinagkatiwalaan kami ng GMA with this project, and it's a remake pa," the Kapuso Primetime Princess added.

David, meanwhile, said there's always pressure with any project.

"As an actor, I think, we just treat it as a challenge. And also, kapag inisip mo kasi 'yung pressure, baka mas hindi ka makapagperform nang maayos," David said.

"Maging Sino Ka Man" will premiere on September 11.

It is Barbie and David's return to GMA Telebabad, following their incredibly successful love team in the historical portal fantasy series "Maria Clara at Ibarra."

They will be joined by Jean Garcia, Faith da Silva, Rain Matienzo, Mikoy Morales, Juancho Triviño, Jeric Raval, ER Ejercito, and Jean Saburit.
