'Maging Sino Ka Man' delivers heart-stopping action scenes in pilot episode

"Maging Sino Ka Man" just made its premiere on Monday, and it did not disappoint!

David Licauco wowed the viewers with his first scene as Carding, who broke into a moving trailer truck to steal some goods.

It turned out to be an entrapment operation, and he found himself fleeing for his life from several armed men.

David showed why he is considered an action star in the making during the fight scenes, looking very much like a bad boy as he whipped his enemies black and blue.

Of course, the pilot episode will not be complete without the fateful first meeting between Carding and Monique, played by Barbie Forteza.

While Carding was running away from the armed men chasing him through narrow alleys, he bumped into Monique, who was driving a motorcycle.

With the enemies closing in on him, he took control of the motorcycle and ended up bringing Monique with him.

The scene reached its climax when they arrived on a bridge, and Carding made the decision to drive straight towards a plank of a truck and jump into a barge sailing in the Pasig River.

Talk about a heart-stopper!

The episode also revealed that Monique, an artist, signs her artworks with "Dino," the alias she will use when she pretends to be a man.

"Maging Sino Ka Man" also stars Juancho Triviño, Jean Garcia, Tonton Gutierrez, Mikoy Morales, Rain Matienzo, Faith da Silva, E.R. Ejercito, Jeric Raval, and more.

The special limited series is an adaptation of the popular '90s film of the same name, which starred Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla.

"Maging Sino Ka Man" airs weeknights on GMA Telebabad at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." It is also livestreamed on the GMA Network YouTube channel and GMANetwork.com/KapusoStream.
