Barbie Forteza says she adlibbed Miss Gay saying in 'Maging Sino Ka Man'

Barbie Forteza revealed that she herself came up with Digna's "kasabihan" in the Miss Gay pageant in the latest episode of "Maging Sino Ka Man."

On Wednesday, Barbie's character Dino became Digna for the contest, which she joined for the prize money and laptop.

While reluctant at first, Dino threw herself fully into Digna's performance on the pageant, which included the introduction and the customary "kasabihan."

"Kung magnanakaw ka, nakawan mo ako ng halik. Kung magnanakaw ka, nakawin mo ang aking puso. Dahil ang totoo, bet kita, maging sino ka man!" Digna said.

On X (formerly Twitter), Barbie said she adlibbed the saying.

"Nung nag-rehearse kami ng eksena, may kasabihan lahat ng candidates. Ako wala. Sabi ko, 'hindi pwede. Dapat meron din ako, gagawa ako.' Bwahaha!" the Kapuso Primetime Princess said.

Aside from the title drop, the saying is a reference to David Licauco's character Carding, who has been stealing luxury goods in the series.

Meanwhile, the name Digna is a tribute to Sharon Cuneta's disguise in the original "Maging Sino Ka Man" film. Even her looks paid homage to the Megastar with the mole added in her dolled up face.

"Maging Sino Ka Man" also stars Juancho Triviño, Jean Garcia, Mikoy Morales, ER Ejercito, Jeric Raval, Faith Da Silva, and Rain Matienzo.

The special limited series airs weeknights on GMA Telebabad at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras."
