Ricci Rivero to Leren Mae Bautista: ‘Hindi tayo magtatago dahil walang dapat ikahiya’

Ricci Rivero took to Instagram to write an appreciation post for Los Baños, Laguna councilor Leren Mae Bautista, whom he called a “real queen.''

Sharing a carousel of photos, which includes a snap of what seems to be their hands holding together, Ricci expressed how much he cherishes Leren.

“To the girl who I see as a real queen. With all the wrongs hounding me, I’m blessed to have found the right one. Allow me to shield you from things you don’t deserve,” he wrote.

Ricci continued, “Hindi tayo magtatago dahil walang dapat ikahiya. Walang nang agaw at walang inagaw. Walang bibitaw dahil masaya tayong magka hawak kamay.”

He said he loves seeing how Leren genuinely continues to help and care for people “despite others trying to ruin your reputation.''

''Rest assured, I will be with you in inspiring people to always be better. Thank you for being so selfless and simple,'' he said.

Ricci then vowed “to never again live a life manipulated by someone’s fantasy.''

''This is our story; hindi dapat iba ang magkwento ng storya nating dalawa!”

Earlier this week, Ricci and Leren watched a UAAP basketball game together with Ricci’s dad.

In June, Ricci and Leren were surrounded by speculation after they were photographed doing an outreach program together. That led to rumors that Leren was the third party in his relationship with Andrea Brillantes.

The municipal councilor denied her alleged romantic involvement with the basketball star, saying that the claims were "entirely false and have no basis in reality."

Ricci also denied that the former beauty queen was the cause of his breakup with Andrea.

"Tito Boy, wala pong kinalaman dito si Councilor Leren," he said in an episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda."

He said the outreach was part of his birthday celebration, which he has done every year since he was in college.
